Event Details

Each week features a book reading plus hands-on activities that reinforce the concepts in the book. These STEM-inspired projects get students thinking about the real world and give them the opportunity to design, build and test out their best ideas. Each family in attendance will receive one complimentary copy of the book of the week while supplies last. Please register your family as a group.

Fish is Fish By Leo Lionni

Join us on a fun adventure with a fish and his friend the Pollywog! The pollywog makes some amazing changes that the fish thinks looks fun. This is a great tale of friendship and the differences that make us all unique. Students will get their hands in the “mud” as they make their own salt clay and mold the different stages of the frog’s life cycle. Our young artists will also get to fold an origami frog and have a “fly eating” contest! How many flies will your frog eat?!
